Parking Accessibility:
I give it five stars because we actually didn’t have to park. The tour picked us up at our hotel and we were on our way.
Entrance Accessibility:
Grapeline didn’t have an accessible vehicle for our tour, but that didn’t stop them – they rented a wheelchair accessible bus for the day. It was amazing and absolutely perfect.
Concession Accessibility:
We went to four wineries to do tastings. The wineries were all extremely accessible and so accommodating for my wheelchair. The largest one, Kunde, actually had a lowered area at the tasting counter for wheelchairs.
Auditorium Accessibility:
We didn’t really have any type of auditorium, however, we did have tours of the caves where the wine is aged. The cave tours were something I thought I wouldn’t be able to do, but surprisingly I could do all of them.
Seating Accessibility:
The bus was fabulous. Spacious, seating for probably 25 or more people, and tie downs for my chair. I sat on a seat (I’m not a fan of riding in my chair inside a vehicle) but it would have been fine to stay in the chair. Safe/new looking lift.
Restroom Accessibility:
Very accessible all the way around at all wineries.
Staff (Courtesy Level):
The fact that Grapeline was willing to work with me and my group to procure a wheelchair accessible tour bus just shows how much they cared about our experience. The staff – everyone from the driver, tour host, and winery staff were amazing.
