The Hilton Garden Inn was surprisingly very accessible and even from the get-go made a very positive impression with its great parking and convenient spot located right next to the door and with plenty of room. From the road it was hard to spot however easy to pull into once located. There was van accessible parking however was only one spot. The parking lot is very well lit and was a light directly above the accessible spot. In addition to this, there is valet parking available for $10 a night. Now onto the entrance, there were automatic doors and it was very open and seemed super accessible with a lot of space to move around. There were essentially no obstacles and none obstructing the walk up to the front desk. The door opens automatically as well, and is enough room for a power chair. The restrooms were very accessible however a long distance away from the front door. They were very open with enough room for a wheelchair and the wheelchair accessible stall was about the size of a walk in closet, so very spacious and enough room to pivot in the stall. The sink was also not too high a distance however could not be determined if someone in a wheelchair could properly wash their hands. The rooms we were told they have 6 total accessible rooms: 2 rooms of which have roll-in showers and another 4 which are accessible. The staff was super friendly and really seemed passionate about pleasing those with disabilities and being as helpful and accessible as possible. The front desk lady (in the mirror in bathroom pic) openly offered and gave us a tour of the property and discussed all of the accessible features and was super helpful in showing us the accessibility of the hotel. Some final thoughts about my experience here would be they have several different types of rooms for different types of disabilities and also there were no doors you had to push to open. Finally, everything in the lobby is on one level, so there are no ramps, steps, or obstacles in the way of mobility. Overall the Hilton Garden Inn is very accessible and I would recommend this place to anyone traveling with a disability.
